Good afternoon, everybody. Once again, this is Pete Thorpe with the StateLine Group of Real Broker. I want to do a quick little run through the small little town here in New Freedom.
We started out right at my office here in 17 West Main Street. And we’re gonna just gonna do a quick run down the street. There is an amazing amount of things going down in this tiny little town.
As you can see, as cars come by me, I’m going to get off the main road here in a second pardon the trash it’s trash day. They have not yet shown up. There’ll be here soon.
If we kept going down this road here, we would dump right into Railroad, which is like a mile up the street. And there was a brewery going in there called AlehCraft brewery.
So there’s a brewery going in right up there as we come down this road here on the corner. Burkentine Builders is putting in a mixed use development and there will be a microbrewery in there. So it’d be craft beer here too and slightly further up the road here up off of Constitution Ave you’ve got Gunpowder Falls Brewing going in.
So we’ve got three breweries within walking distance or One Wheel distance right here in this little downtown area. You can see we’re going by the New Freedom Deli right here. Really cool place. Then Seven Sports Bar and Grill. We’re going to go right by that here. There’s also a cigar shop.
We’re about to pass that. So all these things are all happening here in this small little town, they’ve got Big Truck Brewery, which is right over the line in Maryland, New Freedoms Cigar and Tobacco just a slight ways further up because with cigars, what else do you need but ice cream. So we’ve got Bonky’s right here.
Awesome. Ice cream. Slushies, Icees, whatever you want to call them all in all, all this stuff is sitting right here in New Freedom. Just minutes away from 83, super easy to commute. Lots of, lots of really cool things going on down here. Right back over this way. again is Marge Goodfellow Park. When I get to the top of the street and I’m actually just going to do a little loop and turn around, but you got Marge Goodfellow Park.
That is where we have the 4th of July carnivals and different festivals and parties. Really cool, little space. There’s a live music that happens out there. It’s a great spot. If you’ve got kids, even if you have dogs, you want to get the dogs out there. It’s really nice place.
As you saw us, go across some train tracks back this way, that’s the NCR trail. So you can take against our trail up and down through new freedom from Maryland. It actually runs at a 3% grade all the way up to Pittsburgh. It’s really pretty.
